One of the country\'s agricultural centers Guba region is known by its famous apple orchards.
There are sulfur water springs located on the banks of Khachinchay in Guba region. The hot water from a narrow ravine has a curative importance.
Territory of Guba district stretches from the northeastern mountainsides of Great Caucasus range to Samur-Devechi lowland. There are a lot of picturesque nooks of nature in the region: Balbulag, Gizbanovsha, Gachresh, Tangaalti Gorge at the depth of 400- 600 meters, grand waterfall near the village of Afurja at the height of 75-80 meters.
The mountain village of Xinaliq embedded in the Greater Caucasus mountains of northern Azerbaijan, not that far from Dagestan, is so remote that locals don't speak Russian, often don't even speak Azeri, but speak Xinaliqi, their unique village language. A very hospitable family takes you in and feeds you in the best of both mountain and local traditions. The scenery is lovely and refreshing though it still got too hot in the middle of the day.

Khinalıqs also preserved their ancient customs and traditions as own language. Khinaliq is one of the most interesting components forming the face of Guba region.
